In order to cool myself off the other day I watched my copy of John Carpenter's 'The Thing' which, if you haven't seen it, is set in Antarctica.
I was watching the menu which has a loop of a riff off one of my favourite tracks from the soundtrack, composed by the legendary Ennio Morricone, and I thought I'd post the track up here. Carpenter's soundtracks are among some of the best in my opinion, and even though he doesn't score this one himself, it suits the movie to the ground.
